Help Us With Our Cause

We’ve raised $3M for local beauty salons and barber shops

PPIA is an alliance that was formed by 7 successful small business owners that wanted to ensure that our black and brown businesses stayed afloat in these unprecedented times. To date, we have helped over 200 salons and barbershops secure close to 3 million dollars in grants. Join the fight and make a contribution today!

I was blessed when I met Ann Turner and she introduced me to the amazing group of women that we now know Pa Professional Image Alliance. I met Ann at one of the lowest points in my career. My business was shut down due to COVID 19 restrictions and I had no hope, but Miss Ann as she is affectionately known  and the rest of the phenomenal team helped me to keep hope alive!! Together we fought for funding for the black and brown businesses that were overlooked by everyone else!! We were awarded collectively well over          . Without PPIA I know I would’ve went out of business during the shutdown.

Owner, Hair 4 U

I met Ann Turner during COVID while working for a summer youth employment program. Since the governor mandated the closing of salons and barbershops the job came at the perfect time. Ms Ann invited me to be a part of PPIA and I humbly accepted. Without this group I would not have received grants and other opportunities that have allowed me to reopen and sustain my business of 24 years

Tealia Torres

Owner, Modern Hair Designs

I could not be more proud to be a member of PPIA . I have been a hairstylist and business owner for 40 years. COVID-19 virus changed everything for many if not all small businesses and many of us felt lost and alone. PPIA has bought together hairstylist and barbers . PPIA Has done and will continue to do the hard work ,ask the hard questions, demand respect and get us the support that we need .PPIA has inspired hair stylist and barbershops business owners by reminding us that we are a trusted source in our community and WE MATTER.
